The permanently installed control unit is used by in fire detection and with combined fire alarm and extinguishing systems. The object is to record fires in switch cabinets, as well as in the engine and passenger compartments by using suitable detectors.

In connection with a trigger card and a stationary extinguishing system, fighting the fire can either be initiated automatically or manually by the driver.

These control units are operational by initiating the onboard voltage. All operating conditions then are monitored and displayed to the driver of the vehicle.
